Memorial Day

Today we went fishing. All that was caught was a big limb by Matt and some snails by Cassidy. She is going to keep them in a small container and feed them lettuce. Even though we didn't catch any fish we still had a fun time. We took a walk through the woods too. We love the opportunity to get out and enjoy what God has made.

Visitors!

Over the weekend we were very fortunate to have not one but two families come for a visit. The Heiland family was on vacation and came through Albany to see us. The Davis family came by also for a visit. We had a great time together. Although it rained most of Saturday we were still able to go to the garage and have a picnic. The kids had fun roasting marshmallows, shooting the 22 and getting muddy!!!! We praise the Lord for friendships like theirs.

11 Years Old!

Yesterday was Cassidy's 11th birthday. It's hard to believe it's been a decade plus one year since we brought her home from the hospital. My, how time flies. We are so thankful she is a part of our family. She brings us much joy.

Friends

Naomi has made quite a few new friends since moving to MO. The first picture shows Kelsey and she is 2 weeks older than Naomi. They have a lot of fun in the nursery at church. The second picture is Grace. She is about 9 months younger than Naomi.

Naomi loves to see her friends at church.

Flood

Well...we survived the storms, but we have a lot of flooding. We have a river here that completely flooded it's banks. Schools were let out early this morning because many roads are closed. The main road going from Albany to Bethany (where the Walmart is) is closed. I know the pictures don't do it justice but it still gives you somewhat of an idea. The "Welcome to Albany" sign normally stands in a corn field. The river is supposed to flow between the two tree lines in the third picture. Somebody is real sorry they left their track-hoe out in the field.

Trampoline

This spring we got a trampoline for the kids. They love it!! It helps to release some of their energy. Even Naomi loves it.
