Strawberry Seson

Yeah! It's strawberry season! Today I found Amish families that had strawberries for sale. I thought I would have to travel an hour to get some strawberries but these were only 20 min. away. The area where I went has many Amish families. As I was driving home I got a picture of these two buggies...one coming and one going.

We came home with a lot of strawberries. They were only $2 a quart!

"Now for a sample."

"Here it goes."

"Mmmmm"

"I like it!"

Earlier this week the kids found some wild strawberries (on the right) on our property. They were good too. We crushed some up and put them on top of ice cream. But it would take an awful lot of them to make jam.

Cowboy

Our friend Donna in PA gave Cassidy a very special gift. While we lived in PA Cass would go to her house and help take care of her minature horses. Cass fell in love with Cowboy. It was a sad day when she had to say good-bye. Donna was kind enough to offer Cowboy to Cassidy. We got him on Monday. Cassidy was so excited! Cowboy is adjusting well and I think Missy enjoys having a companion.

Cassidy's Recital

Yesterday Cassidy had a piano recital. She did a wonderful job. The three songs she played were "In the Hall of the Mountain King", "Sonatina, Op. 36, #1", and "Bow the Knee."
The video is below.

Popsicle!

We were at the farm today working on the barn and the kids asked for a popsicle. I figured they would just share their's with Naomi. Instead, they gave her her own.
Can you say STICKY?

"How many pictures are you going to take, Mama?!"

I can't help myself!
